A few weeks ago I got together with my friend and super stylist Miranda @Flutterby Events and arranged a full day of shooting at the glorious wedding and events venue 'Gildridge Manor' in Old Town Eastbourne. This is just one of the stories we covered titled 'Butterfly'. The main inspiration came from the fabulous dresses we borrowed fromLeonie Claire Bridal in Brighton.
Originally I wanted to put together a beautiful Bridal Wear shoot, concentrating on the mood and feel of the location as much as creating stunning imagery, but when Miranda suggested we take a look at Leonie's dresses everything changed. The dresses are something else. Far from the traditional corseted styles that we're used to seeing, Leonie's dresses offer something different, exciting and effortlessly timeless. The dress for this story was called Cleo in the 'Young Love' collection byRue De Seine. A fringed Kaftan style with embroidered mesh and hand-embellished sleeves.
